Bahia Abrams grew up within the confines of a tight-knit Syrian-Jewish community that is steeped in orthodox Judaism and Arabic culture. The outside world was limited to her. When Christians condemned her to hell, accused her of killing God because of her religion, and when her son was on an upper floor inside the World Trade Center on 9/11, Bahia looked inward and began writing and speaking.
